Platipus anchor system and Pidler.
The Platipus rootball fixing system, including Plati-Mat®, remains the preferred method of securing rootballed, airpot and containerised semimature trees. The ease of installation and lack of unsightly guy wires makes it the first choice of customers. Over the past three decades, we have developed an extensive range of unique underground fi xing solutions to suit most applications. The Plati-Mat® allows secure positioning of newly transplanted trees, whilst offering major benefits over traditional root support systems

Resin Bound areas
What is resin bound paving?
Resin bound paving fixes together small stones with high-tech resin to form a firm, attractive surface. It creates many small gaps that allow water to drain through into the ground.
This technology combines the best of other surfaces:
- The drainage and appearance of loose gravel
- The durability and convenience of block paving
Resin bound surfacing is made from a blend of shingle, quartzite or crushed granite coated with a clear UV-stable polyurethane resin. To ensure that each aggregate particle is completely coated in resin, the two elements are combined in a force-action mix process to form a cold-pour mixture. The mixture is then poured and hand-trowelled to form a smooth, accurate surface with no loose stones. It is recommended that a resin bound surface should be laid to a depth of 15mm for a pool surround, footpath or terrace and 18mm for a driveway and car park.

This is a trade only product.
